The BIGFOOT. Very popular build with anyone that has been following us and/or seen it at the shop. There are only 5 or 6 of these in N America, the rest were sent to Japan. We did a 6" lift on 255/85s, since Fox 2.0s, Spyntec Hub conversion and SSBC brakes on one of our Stage 2 front axles w/4.56, UJOR OBA system, Aluminess front bumper, Rigid lights, UJ rear overload airbags, A pillar gauges, stock wheels coated black. Killer package, killer rig.

Bob in PA brought his rig down for a full transformation that included a 6" 4x4 conversion, Stage 2 front axle, 4.56s front & rear, Aluminess front bumper nerf bars and rear tire carrier, 35" BFGs on Black rock wheels and thats about it! Van looks and drives great.

This motorcycle hauler from MD needed some extra traction so to UJ it came. 2011 5.4, we installed a 4" kit, Stage 1 D60 with RSC on 285/70/17 Toyo AT2s on Black Rock wheels.
Matthew found a really nice & clean 7.3 Chateau and then had us transform it into a true 4x4 beast. 6" lift, Stage 2 front axle, D60 FF rear with re gear and Detroit True Trac, flares, Rhino rockers, UJ front bumper with Warn VR12000 and Synthetic winch line, UJ roof rack, UJ fuel tank, NV271, 1350CV shafts front and rear with some Fox 2.0s. Tires are Toyo RTs, wheels are ATX Cornice. Super nice van!
Justin from AR brought us his 99 E350 5.4 for a full conversion so we knocked it out quick. 6" lift, Stage 1 front axle with 4.56's, re geared the rear full float D60 to 4.56, Single Fox 2.0s, flares, Aluminess nerf bars and ladder, all of the usual UJOR parts. Tires are Nitto, Wheels from KMC.

We installed our 6" conversion, Stage 2 front axle with RSC upgrade, 4.56 gears front & rear, single Fox 2.0s, powder coated bumpers, flares, aluminess tire carrier nerf bars and rack/ladder.
Another rig from MD, this 2013 E350 5.4 came to us for a complete 4x4 conversion with a few extras. We installed a full 6" 4x4 conversion with Stage 2 front axle and RSC upgrade with 4.56's, swapped the rear to 4.56, add single Fox 2.0's, 35" BFG's, Black Rock wheels, Aluminess rear tire carrier and nerf bars, flares, sPOD system and some Sienna seats. This van is ready for some action on the Outer Banks!
Tom sent his van to us all the way from LA to get the works completed. This nicely equipped 2010 E350 6.0 has our 6" 4x4 conversion with a Stage 2 front axle and RSC upgrade, 4.56 gears, ARB rear locker, single Fox 2.0's, American RAcing Cornice wheels, Toyo RT 35/12.50/17 tires, Aluminess front & rear bumpers along with nerf bars, flares, Rigid lights in both bumpers, sPOD system, UJ Onboard Air. rear skid with Deka 8A4D battery, NV271 and all of the common UJ 4x4 swap parts. Rig is back out west and ready to explore!
Nate in MD needed his E350 7.3 converted to 4wd and he needed it done quick! As the only transport for his daughter we had to move quick. We did a ton pf pre build prep to make sure everything was in line to finish in a few days. It all went as planned and the van now has our 4" lift with 35" BFGs (van has a body lift for the wheelchair lift) Rebuilt transmission, Fox shocks, Pro Comp wheels, NV271 t-case, all of the normal UJ goodies.
Holy grail of vans! This 03 7.3 SMB Quigley came to us from CA to get a major upgrade/transformation with only 55k on te clock. The customer had UJ mods planned before they bought the van and once they bought & drove it home they knew it needed to come here asap for a suspension fix. We did a full 6" Dequiglification suspension swap, Fox 2.0's, upgraded the front axle to our Stage 2 specs with the Spyntec hub conversion & SSBC brakes and added a Sterling 10.5 out back with a zip locker. Full OBA system, front winch, rear Aluminess bumper with Deluze box, UJOR penthouse roof rack, 2 solar panels & complete wiring system to the house battery, , gauges, lights on the rack, Scorpion liner on the rockers and pop top, sPOD system to control all of the lights, Pro Comp wheels with Toyo 35" RT tires.

Finally got time to share some thoughts on the recent DeQuiglification of our SMB.
When I picked the rig up in Aspen to drive back to CA, I knew things may get a little sketchy as the PO mentioned you need to keep your hands on the wheel at all times ("you can't be sipping a latte in this"). OK, no prob, just need to get it home so it can go to UJOR (was originally planning to drop ship directly to UJOR, but timing didn't allow)... Driving it out the airport, the steering wheel was going back and forth a crazy amount and I hadn't even hit 35 mph and the PO was directing me to the freeway to drop them off before we headed out...sheit! not the freeway! And we had >1K miles to go!...
The steering was so funky that I had to keep pinballing the wheel back and forth to maintain a straight line - I was getting as much practice on the back roads from the PO's house before hitting the freeway where we needed to maintain speed. It was a hairball, white knuckle, butt puckering experience at freeway speeds. I think we maintained 55-60 and barely went above. Semi's were passing constantly... For the big mountain curves out in the desert at freeway speeds, I had to get the play out of the steering before entering any curves and then feather it back to center. Did NOT want to have to counter steer in the middle of a turn. If overdrive or turbo kicked in, the wandering magnified which increased pucker factor, especially in turns.
It was tiring at best to keep this rig at freeway speeds. There were two of us in the rig, but I ended up driving the whole way as we were on a tight schedule to get the rig back in a couple days. My buddy was a fully competent driver, but due to the learning curve for maintaining freeway speeds, I kept on driving (plus I would have been sketched period not being in control of this thing regardless of how well he could have driven it...) Two lane roads at 55mph+ were very sketchy, e.g. 50 through Utah/Nevada..
We finally made it to CA okay and then reached out to Chris to arrange a full Dequig and build (6" on 35's).
Absolutely smooth process through all that and fast forward to the day of pick up. Chris had sent pics along the way, but nothing beats seeing it in person. Stunning to say the least... absolutely DOPE! What a transformation!
The ride quality was absolutely impressive - still felt the weight a bit as it is an SMB (vs V7 which Chris picked us up in), but damn, the steering wheel tracked proportionally to the rig turning. That stood out immediately. I couldn't WAIT to get some driving in...good thing we had ~3K miles in front of us to get back.
The stoke factor kept on climbing... all Quig fears melted away as confidence from the UJOR makeover took over. Smooth as butter, solid steering, no wandering, and the new gauges kept me in the loop on system performance, etc. I could keep one hand on things if needed and maintain full control. Going above 65 was easy. Still super solid. At one point I looked down at saw 85mph on the speedo while passing a semi (keep in mind while in Quig mode, it was nerve racking going over 35).
Overall, I didn't maintain speeds really above 75, but knew if needed, I could go there with confidence. And all those distracting things we like to do while road trippin were doable, even one handed now. Functionality met form and what a pair they made this rig now. Chris was right when he said we may have gotten some attention with the rig before, but NOW...it's a whole different thing. Practically every stop we made, people were staring, taking pictures, giving thumbs up, asking questions, etc. Even people we passed on the road head on you could see had deer in the headlight syndrome and were pointing.
Parting words...if you have concerns about your Quig and are wondering about a fix, have Chris and his team DeQuig your rig. You will NOT regret it. The PO had added new front shocks, some big *** sway bar in the back and deaver springs, so was going down a rat hole and wasn't making it better. I can't help but think the low miles on our rig was due to how sketched it was to drive. Now I just want to pile the miles/go get stuck, extract and do it all over again.
This 2014 E350 5.4 is headed to KS for a hunting camp and will be working hard hauling guys around. We did a 6" swap with beefed up springs, Stage2 front axle with RSC upgrade, single Fox 2.0's, hydrodipped camo wheels, Aluminess bumpers front & rear, Rigid lights, sPOD system, UJOR roof rack with more Rigid lights, Toyo 35" MT tires.
Class C's in 4x4 are one of the coolest things around! This one came down from NY and got a full 4" swap with a Stage 2 front axle that is equipped with a full hub conversion and 8 piston SSBC brake upgrade. Fox 2.0's, NV271, all of the normal stuff that will enable it to park on the beach anywhere. The wheels are from Ultra, tires are 285/75/16 Toyo AT2.
Another big boy ambo has hit the streets! This 05 6.0 was brought to us for a full swap and now it has our full 4" conversion with some cool stuff. We did a front hub conversion to make the new axle 8 on 6.5 enabling us to keep the stock wheels. We packed the front axle with a true trac too. We massaged the 6.0 for longevity, added our OBA kit, 255/85 BFG tires and Fox 2.0 shocks.
Jamie and family needed a bigger rig for all of their adventures & activities so they picked up this low mileage 2014 E350 5.4 and brought it directly to us for some mods. 6" conversion, 35" Toyo RT's, Pro Comp wheels, single Fox 2.0's, OBA system, Sienna seats, Aluminess tire carrier, UJ roof rack, rear ARB locker, 4.56 gears, Stage 2 front axle with RSC upgrade. We blacked out the stock bumpers and grille and added flares too. Super nice van!
V7 is our new demo rig, love it! This 2005 E350 V10 Chateau has been with us since Jan/15 and it only had 11k on the clock. Now it has our 6" front / 4" rear lift with a Stage 1 front axle that is equipped with SSBC brakes and a SpynTec front bearing kit. color matched flares, UJ front bumper with Rigid LED lights, blacked out stock rear bumper with a flush mount Rigid light, Fox single 2.0 shocks, ATX Cornice wheels, Toyo 35/12.50/17 RT tires, UJ roof rack.
This rig will be used for demo drives, shows, airport shuttle, everything.

Here in NC we have mountains, we have ocean, Pete wanted a rig that could do it all and still serve as a DD. So, he sent the van up here for some UJ love! This 2013 E150 is super cool, has the interior upgrade so its set up like a Chateau. The van is a 5.4 so we made the swap quick and off he went. This van has a Stage 1 D60 front with RSC upgrade, 3.73's, single Bilstein 5100's, Toyo AT2 tires (285/70/17) on Black Rock wheels, Aluminess tire carrier, a nice simple & functional build.
This is the 2014 E350 V10 that we built for Optima Batteries! This van will debut at the SEMA show this year, super excited for the opportunity and the press that it will see after the event. We did our full 6" suspension lift, Stage 2 front axle with a Zip Air Locker and RSC upgrade, 4.10 gears, NV271, UJOR fuel tank, rear skid system, dual shock towers, Fox 2.0 res shocks, Aluminess bumpers, Bushwacker fender flares, Superwinch front winch, Sierra LED lights, BMF wheels, Falken Tires, AMP Steps and of course some Optima batteries.
The van is currently on the west coast getting a pop top and custom interior bits. We'll update as things happen!
Super nice SMB alert! This 05 E350 5.4 has lived a nice life as a 2wd SMB until we got our hands on it! 6" lift, Stage 2 front axle w/RSC upgrade, 35" BFG AT's, flares, single 5100 series Bilsteins, flares, UJOR front bumper with a Warn VR12000 & Rigid 20" light bar, 4.88 gears, NV271. This rig is headed to WY, love the color!
We built this van for a customer in Poland, hope the people there enjoy it! The van is a 2005 E350 6.0 that we did a full 6.0 treatment to, 6" lift, Stage 2 front axle w/RSC upgrade, OBA, rear air locker, flares, NV271, duel front shocks with Fox 2.0's, the usual suspects of UJ parts. This is the 1st van that we completed an 08/up front clip swap to using all new Ford parts. Tires are Toyo RT 35/12.50/17 and wheels are Black Rock Steel.
This is our 2nd "DeJavier" or "Crows 4x4". Not sure where to start but I'm glad we were able to make this 7.3 van drive & run better. As I found things wrong I posted pics to facebook if you'd like to look there. Some things we found.... speaker wire extending the speed sensor, unslodered ABS lines just twisted together, t-case had no fluid, holes in the frame holding the radius arm mounts were cut with a torch (not even close to the correct size) and random hacks here & there.
Now the positive news! We re did the entire suspension with a 6" lift, Stage 2 front axle with 4.56's, new 35" Toyo RT's, new NV271 transfer case, new fuel tank, brake lines, DP tuner with gauges, etc etc. Now he can feel safe driving the van with trailer in tow! Here's his testimonial.
Hello, My name is Mark, and Im a Vanaholic I am the owner of Big Red (Javier 2.0) I was looking for a weekend vehicle and to tow our 32' 13,000 pound trailer for camping. I am not one to just get a truck and be done with it (though it might have been a better choice, Who knows) I saw a few 4x4 vans and decided it was for me. I followed Chris and a few others but didn't pay too close attention to their differences. I got anxious and ended up finding an '03 with a 7.3. It was BEAT, but the seller was also a builder, he assured me it could be fixed, and built to my specs. I had gotten prices from some of the other guys and his prices were great...so I thought, so I bit the bullet. He converted to 4x4 using '07 coil sprung running gear, 8" on 37" tires, Front clip update, body work, removed all the windows, painted, and interior. As for the interior it was just a good cleaning, carpet, leaving 2 rows of seat and re-upolstering (Like I said this was just supposed to be a cool weekend family tow vehicle, not a sportsmobile) Long story short, it was good from far but far from good. When I picked up the van and made the drive home, it seemed really unstable, I had a death grip the whole way home, and just thought it was the nature of this big vehicle. When I got the van home, I started noticing there were so many half assed things done to this vehicle it was un believable. A few of the goodies, were lap belts with a ford male and a GM female that wouldn't connect, rather than purchasing the factory seat belts that retract. 1 seat belt actually being held together with a ¼-20 bolt THROUGH the fabric, Electrical issues, many conversion issues. Windshield flexes and air comes in from not being re-installed correctly.Fog light switches installed upside down. Speedo was 15mph off at 70mph, Front tires rubbed when turning into a driveway. Within 2 months the transfer case started popping out of gear. Turns out it was BONE DRY Well needless to say this was not the van I had envisioned. Understanding I got what I payed for I started correcting things myself and decided the van was still pretty cool and it wasn't a show car so I could live with some of the flaws Then... I took our trailer on the first camping trip, A guys trip for my buddies bachelors party. This van was out of control, I could barely do 40mph on the freeway without the trailer swaying all over, it was pretty scary, my co-pilot was scared, the friends behind me told me to back off. I hated it. I told them I was going to sell it right away. But I didn't want to be the A-hole selling an unsafe vehicle trying to recoup my money. On this trip we got LOTS of people honking, waving, thumbs up, and I kept thinking I loved that aspect of the van it was just undriveable So I contacted Chris, He assured me something wasn't right and it should drive much better. He had another client that had a van from "the other guy" that he had redone. I contacted that client to discuss his experiences and they were similar. I decided to ship the van from CA to Chris to have him redo it. We decided to go to a 6" on 35" tires, stage 2 front axel, 4.56 gears front and rear, new drive shafts, Correct leaf springs, Air bags, Diesel tuner with gauges, new fuel tank, (the old one was bashed in and damaged the pickup which the other guy would have noticed it when he shortened it) I flew to NC with a buddy to pick up the van. Chris picked us up at the airport and took us back we chatted for a bit, payed the bill (ouch) and were on our way (approx 6pm) We got about 20 miles out and noticed there was a problem, I was heartbroken. I called Chris he stopped his dinner and came out, In the rain, and determined it needed some attention. We took it back to his shop and he worked through the night to get us on our way. We left about 11:30 PM. We drove 2600 miles in 3 days. No issues. Chris contacted me in the middle of the trip to see how things were going. I have since put another 400 miles on it without issue. I can cruise easily at 75mph with 1 hand. it is night and day different. Tons of power. I can accelerate easily even at 65mph. I get looks at every stop. everyone loves it. I took the long (expensive) way but I love my van again. It still is a beast but is much easier to drive. I love it so much that my wife and I have come up with a plan to semi-ditch the toy hauler and outfit the van for some camping. Shoot, I might even do something with the chrome grill smile emoticon I had to sell the 37" tires (less than 1000 mi) and didn't want to lug them home so I told Chris to try to sell them for me.. Weeks later he called to let me know he sold them and would be crediting my card. Then I received his care pack in the mail. This is all after I was paid in full. This shows his character It is difficult for me to give all this praise because I feel that it should have been done this way to begin with. It turns out that Chris and crew are not the norm and quality is hard to come by. I respect them for doing a great job, for standing by their work, keeping my on my timeline, and keeping their promises Thanks Chris
Derek needed some help with his 03 7.3! This van is a perfect example of how a good van can be neglected and then repaired poorly. Luckily we were able to get it all worked out. When this van arrived it would barely run, stalled several times from the truck to the parking space. We replaced the IDM, cam sensor, HPOP, ICP, vaccum, water pump & fuel filter. After that we did a full 6" 4x4 Conversion with some 35" General Grabber tires. Full transmission rebuild, NV271, single 5100's, full rebuild on rear axle, the works!
Just finished this super nice 01 E350 7.3! 6" lift on 35" tires, Stage 2 front axle with 4.10 gears and our RSC upgrade, Sterling 10.5 with an ARB, NV271 t-case, 1350CV driveshafts front & rear, Aluminess bumpers front & rear, Rigid 30" light bar and D2 lights in the front, Warn VR12000 winch up front, XD9000 in the rear, Bushwacker fender flares, XD Addict wheels, Toyo 35" AT2 tires, sPOD wiring system, Ujoint OBA system.
This van was a stock cargo until our customer found it and had it sent to SMB for a full interior and pop top conversion.
Richard bought his 99 E350 7.3 new and used it as a work van for over 200k. What to replace it with? Nothing because the 7.3 vans are the best! So, it went to paint and then came here for a major job, basically a frame off restoration. We pulled the body, refreshed the engine, made some nice reliability mods and cleaned eveything up. we have a video on the video page showing the work.

Rockers are lined by Rhino. Tires are 37" Nitto AT's on Fuel 20 x 12 wheels. An sPOD controls all lights and locker/air system. LED tail lights too! Awesome van.
V5 has been part of the UJOR fleet for 2 years and now its moving on to a new owner. 2011 E350 5.4, 6" lift with progressive springs, Stage 2 Front D60 W/RSC upgrade, Dynatrac diff covers, Pro Comp wheels with 35" Toyo AT2 tires, ARB rear locker, Bushwacker flares, Bilstein shocks and a custom front bumper packing some Rigid lights. Out back is an Aluminess tire carrier.
V5 was a great reliable rig to have, now we're on to building V7 as our next demo rig!
This van is just to cool! 09 E350 5.4, 6" lift with a Stage 2 front D60 that has the RSC upgrade and 4.88 gears. Out back we changed it to 4.88 of course. Up front are dual Fox 2.0's, singles in the rear. AMP steps, Aluminess bumpers at both ends stuffed with Rigid lights. It also has our aluminum fuel tank and 35" Toyo MT's on XD Addict wheels.
It doesn't get much better than this! 03 E350 7.3 running a full 6" UJOR suspension with lots of extras. Carl in CO searched long & hard to find the right van and when he did it came here for the works. 6" kit, Stage 2 front axle with RSC upgrade, 4.10 gears, ARB rear air locker with a full rebuild and fresh gears, full transmission rebuild, NV271 t-case, 1350 CV shafts front & rear, UJOR fuel tank, UJOR onboard air system, fender flares, UJOR rear skid system with underfloor storage, XD Addict wheels with BFG AT K02 tires, UJOR dual shock system with Fox 2.0's and some Aluminess bumpers front & rear.
Bill's really nice 07 E350 V10 Quigley needed a change! The harsh NE had taken its toll on all of the front suspension bracketry so something had to be done. So, we discussed it all and he decided to DeQuiglify the van and go with our 4" lift. We re used the existing front axle and returned it back to stock while also eliminating the proprietary Quigley wearing parts (unit bearings, brake rotors) so he can have the van serviced anywhere with over the couter parts. We stripped the frame and gave it a nice coating of POR-15, swapped the rear springs & hardware and threw some 285's with 18" pro comp wheels. Such a nice van!
Another great van has gotten the UJ treatment! This super clean 94 E350 SMB 5.8 lived a good life as a 2wd camper, now it has a 6" lift on 35's, ready for a new life! We installed a 6" kit, Stage 2 front axle with 4.56's, Sterling rear with another True Trac and 4.56's, single 5100 series shocks, 35" BFG AT's, Pro Comp 7069 series wheels, UJOR front bumper with a front receiver and a new rear bumper with an Aluminess tire carrier.
The bus! This rig turns heads, thats for sure. 97 E450 V10 with super low miles, 6" UJOR 4x4 conversion with custom rate springs front/rear, Stage 2 front axle with RSC upgrade & 4.56's, NV271 t-case, single 5160 series shocks, Toyo M608Z tires on American Force 19.5" classic wheels. We topped it off with a UJOR front bumper and some Rigid lights.
David in OK bought this van new and brought it here for a complete swap! This V10 got a complete 4"conversion with single shocks, our UJOR fuel tank, Stage 2 front axle with 4.10 gears. Tires are 265's that he'll swap for some 285's later.
Bruce brought his van down from MN for a complete install, and we had to do it quick! So, this 03 E350 7.3 got a full 6" lift, Stage 2 front axle with RSC and 4.56 gears, Sterling rear also with 4.56's, dual 5160's up front, Pro Comp wheels , Toyo AT2 tires, NV271 and all of the other UJ goodies. He has since taken it back to MN for an interior swap and he lays down the miles!

Mike brought his rig up from GA and we gave it a really nice setup for the long run and the most versatility. 6" lift on 35" Toyo MT's, Black Rock Wheels, Stage 2 front D60, Stage 2 Sterling 10.5 rear with an ARB upgarde, UJOR Onboard Air system, UJ front bumper and an Aluminess tire carrier. We took the stock rear bumper and buried a new trailer plug before powdercoating it black. Transmission rebuild, rebuilt NV271, 1350 CV driveshafts front & rear, single Bilstein 5100's. Awesome van that will see lots of action.
Major transformation on this rig! This van started life as a Quigley and changed hands a few times before landing here in NC. We did a ton of work to prep it for a Panamerican Hwy trip that included a major engine overhaul, transmission rebuild, DeQuiglification to a 4" UJOR kit with a Stage 2 front axle, Rhino lined rockers, Aluminess front & rear bumpers, Warn VR12000 winch, hood louvers, flares, Pro comp wheels, Toyo AT2 tires and we had the whole van "dipped". For the engine we replaced everything but the long block. Super cool rig, looking forward to the adventures it will go on!
Another awesome ambo! This 2004 6.0 has a full 6" UJOR suspension with a Stage 2 front axle that has the RSC upgrade. Shocks are dual 5160's up front with singles out back and this beast is rolling on American Force 19.5's with Toyo 608Z tires, 285's. Full UJOR Onboard air system with our front bumper that was left raw and polished.
This E350 6.0 Sportsmobile had spent its life as a nice 2wd camper. Now it's 6" higher on 35's! We installed a lot of good parts on this rig. Stage 2 front axle with the RSC parts upgrade as well as an ARB air locker. Out back we did a Sterling 10.5 with another ARB. AMP steps, engie upgrades, this SMB is ready for some more camping but just a little further from the pavement.
This 2008 E350 5.4 got a lot of work, from paint to suspension we covered it all! It has our complete 6" conversion, UJOR fuel tank, single 5100 series shocks, Stage 2 front axle with 4.56's, Aluminess front & rear bumpers, Rigid lights, fender flres, BFG 315/70/17 AT KO tires and Pro Comp wheels. Turned out really nice!
Tony's van has been a work in progress and I think its pretty close to perfect! The 6.0 van first came to us for a full engine upgrade, steps and a front bumper. It was already 4wd done on the west coast when he had bought it. Standard radius arm coil spring setup and there was a lot to be desired in the driving dept. All it took was a drive in V5 to convince him that we could do much better. We then started making plans to "DeJavier" the van. we replaced the front axle with one of our Stage 2 D60's with 4.56 gears, 6" suspension system, Diamond Eye Exhaust system, UJOR fuel tank, Bilstein 5100 series shocks and some lights. This van has Aluminess bumpers front & rear, Toyo 35/12.50/17 MT tires, Black Rock wheels, fender flares and some goodies from Rigid. Enjoy!
We recently finished up this 03 E350 7.3 and it has a great lift of upgrades that will make many guys jealous! We started with our full 6: conversion and used a Stage 2 Dana 60 with 4.56 gears, added an ARB rear air locker, rear overload airbags, UJOR onboard air system, UJ front bumper, Aluminess rear tire swing, Diamond Eye Exhaust turbo back system, Bilstein 5100 series shocks, NV271 t-case, full transmission rebuild & 4x4 conversion, Toyo AT2 tires (35/12.50/17) and Black Rock wheels. We also sandblasted a stock rear bumper and powder coated it after we buried a Rigid Flush mount reverse light and a trailer plug. Inside we added an a pillar gauge pod with EGT, trans temp & boost gauges from Autometer, a custom DP Tuner as well as some 2nd row Sienna seats. Here's his testimonial!

6" UJOR 4x4 conversion with progressive springs, dual front Bilstein 5160 series shocks, Stage 2 front axle w/RSC upgrade and a Dynatrac diff cover, UJ overload airbags, UJ aluminum fuel tank, NV271 transfer case, 1350CV driveshafts front & rear, UJ rear skid system with a Deka 8A4D battery & underfloor storage, Aluminess front bumper with a Rigid 30" light bar and 4 Rigid dually lights along with a Warn VR12000 winch that has synthetic winch line and relocated control plug. Our back there is another Aluminess bumper that has their Deluxe box as well as sone 4" Rigid LED lights. All lights are wired to the factory upfitter switches in the dash. To help the passengers we have a set of AMP running boards. Up top is a 20" Aero hi top from Fiberine and we fabricated a complete custom interior. Check our video page for a walk thru tour. This super clean 07 E350 6.0 came in bone stock and then we added a full 8" conversion with dual front shocks, UJOR fuel tank, flares, Aluminess nerf bars & rear tire carrier, UJOR front bumper, full 6.0 engine treatment, hood vents, 4.56 gears, XD Addict wheels, Toyo 37/13.50/17 MT's and a Dana 60 front axle of course. Another new Class C! This one went up 4" on 33's and spends its time on the east end of Long Island. We did a Stage 2 front axle with the RSC parts upgrade for maximum traction and braking. Turns heads for sure!
Stan wantd his 6.0 EB to make a statement but also keep some of the stock styling cues. So we did something that we normally don't, chrome wheels! They look great. This van has our full 8" lift on 37" Toyo MT's and American Racing wheels.
The Tribe of 5 Ambo is done! This E450 beast is running our 6" conversion & Stage 2 front axle with a ton of goodies. The 35" Toyo M608Z tires are mounted on some Aluminum 19.5" wheels from American Force and this rig is running dual Bilstein 5160's up front with dual 5100's out back. We installed a full OBA system, our new HD rear airbag kit, custom rear CV 2 piece driveshaft and there are more parts going on soon. (front bumper, winch) For now the Tribe rig will be out camping!
The latest 2014 van has left the shop! We ordered this van from Ford for a customer in WA and it turned out really nice. We equipped it with all of the goodies we like and started the build as soona s it arrived. This van has our standard 6" 4x4 conversion with progressive springs front & rear, stage 2 front D60 with RSC, ARB locker in the rear, UJ rear skid system that houses a Deka battery as well as an aux fuel tank, rear underfloor storage, UJ OBA system, Aluminess front & rear bumpers with Rigid Lights, full stereo & alarm upgrade, dual Aluminess ladders, fender flares, Black Rock Yuma wheels with Toyo 35" MT's. Uj dual shock mounts with Bilstein 5160 series shocks, UJ fuel tank, NV271 t-case, 1350 CV driveshafts front & rear, Warn 16.5 winch and AMP steps. Pretty much everythig we could throw at it! The van is now at SMB Indiana getting an interior.

Big Black 3 is done! This 08 E250 5.4 now has a bit of height under it, 8" on 37's to be exact. We did a full transmission rebuild and installed a front D60 as well as a Sterling rear, both stuffed with ARB Air Lockers & 4.56's. Dual front shock towers with Bilstein 5160 series shcosk, black bumpers & grille, lookin good! This van has a fully functional wheelchaor lift too!

This 06 E350 was a customer install in TX that came up for sale recently. I received many calls about it! The new owner is in WA state and sent it here 1st so we could work our magic. The install was done well, we went over it front to back to make sure everything was done properly. There was some ebgine work done (not very well) so we needed to address some issues. So off came the body for a major 6.0 upgrade. Head studs & gaskets, oil cooler, injectors and everything else that we do with the 6.0's.
In addition to the engine work we installed our airbags system, OBA, Espar heater, fender flares, swapped the gears to 4.56, rear skid system, 4" exhaust and a 220amp alternator.
This 6" on 35's is now ready to go home!
This van came to us all the way from WA for a major job! We started with a full DeQuiglification and replaced it with a full UJOR 8" conversion on XD Addict wheels & 37" Toyo MT's. Underneath we added a rear skid system that houses an aux fuel tank, UJ airbag kit, UJ OBA system, UJ main fuel tank, UJ front bumper and a rear unit from Aluminess that has a custom 37" tire mount.
Once all of that was done we removed the body for a major 6.0 overhaul. Head studs & gaskets, oil cooler as well as all of the regular upgrades we make to keep 6.0's reliable and running good.

David from KY had his van built locally with our kit and decided to bring it down here for some upgrades and an overall check up. We re did teh rear axle installation, added some A pillar gauges and exhaust, rear tire carrier and a UJ front bumper. This van has a 6" lift on 35's, 2000 E350 7.3.

The dealer wasn't exactly honest on a few things so we did what we could to make it the perfect candidate. New windshield, paintless dent repair and a full detailing was 1st on the list. We then had the lower body coated with Rhino Lining and painted body color. Interior too, the entire floor. Next up was the engine work, full 6.0 treatment including a new oil cooler. We don't do many local builds, but this is one! Jed came to us earlier in the year for a partial conversion and we just finished up the completion. This 99 E350 7.3 is running a Stage 1 Dana 60 and the 4" lift. We used 3" blocks in the rear for some more altitude and we also bolted up some Aluminess nerf bars. This van will be towing a big Airstream trailer so we beefed up the transmission for tugging duty too.
Another Class C RV is done! This beast is a 2013 with a V10 and we lifted it 6" to fit some 285/70R/19.5 Toyo Tires on American Force 19.5 wheels. This rig isn't all show though, that front axle is a Stage 2 D60 w/RSC. Single Bilstein 5160 series shocks all the way around and we fabricated a custom front receiver hitch for the coolers at the beach. Now the family can camp on the beach in luxury!
Brett brought his van from CO for some updates & upgrades, turned out really nice. He had installed his own 4" conversion and decided to make it drive better with crossover steering and a trac bar. Thats where he started..... wound up adding a front bumper, fuel tank, dual front shocks with Bilstein 5160's, Onboard air, fender flares and went from a 4" to a 6" lift! While it was here in NC we had a high top installed so now all he has to do is finish the interior and he has one heck of an awesome van.

Who doesn't want a Class C on 35's? David certainly did, so he brought it to us for a massive altitude adjustment. We prepped a stage 2 Dana 60 with all of the regular UJOR goodies and had some custom springs made to get this rig up on some 35" Toyo MT's. Believe it or not, this RV only gained 800lbs during the conversion and still tips the scales under 11K. Drives so good that you have to remind yourself there is so much mass behind you!

GoldiVan has just been finished and I really like this conversion van! It's a 2000 E350 5.4 with low mileage, brought down from VA for a full UJOR 6" conversion. We built a Stage 2 Dana 60 front and left the rear stock besides a gear change. Up front is an aluminum UJOR front bumper stuffed with a Warn VR12000 winch. While the van was here we updated the cooling system and gave everything a good check up. The wheels are M/T Classic Lock on 35/12.50/17 BFG AT's.
SuperBlue turned out great! This is a dream van for all of us van geeks....... 2003 E350 7.3 with under 15K on the odometer! The customer bought it via the internet and had it shipped directly to SMB in Indiana. They installed a pop top and side window, then it came to us. We gave this van the WORKS. Complete 6" UJOR suspension lift, Stage 2 D60 front w/RSC upgrade, Stage 2 Sterling rear with a True Trac, Bilstein 5100 series shocks, UJOR rear floating overload airbags, UJOR 39 gallon aluminum fuel tank, UJOR rear skid system w/ a house battery, UJOR prototype underfloor storage, UJOR Onboard air system, Method racing wheels with Toyo AT2 tires and a rear tire carrier from Aluminess. Some other goodies we added are Bushwacker fender flares and a front receiver hitch. For the bumpers we kept the stock units and reinstalled after we had them sandblasted and powdercoated. To help the vertically challenged we installed a set of AMP electric running boards.
ZVan spent some time at UJOR, and it received a LOT of parts! The suspension lift is the standard UJOR 4" conversion with a 3" block out back instead of the common 2". Stage 1 front Dana 60, crossover steering, all of the usual parts. This van is a 6.0 diesel, so we did a full engine upgrade & cat delete. Out back we installed a rear skid system and the UJ OBA01 onboard air kit. Up front the van got a UJ aluminum front bumper and we added bushwacker flares. This van is riding on stock super duty truck wheels and 285/75/16 BFG AT tires. Not done..... The roof rack is also from us!
MudHipy is done! Harold wanted more attitude for this newly aquired 05 Quigley conversion and he came to the right place. We set it up with a full 8" UJOR lift with 37" Mickey Thompson ATZ tires on 18" Dick Cepek FCII wheels. While we had the van we did a full 6.0 diesel upgrade to ensure he has many many trouble free miles ahead. We retained the stock front axle by cutting off all of the Q parts and added crossover steering with a custom trac bar setup. We also took this time to change the front bolt pattern back to 8 on 170mm so he wouldn't have to depend on one source for parts in the future. Enjoy!

This van has a complete UJOR 6" lift with a Stage 2 front axle that we equipped with the RSC upgrade and 4.56 gears. Out back, we took the stock Dana 60 full floater and did a full rebuild that includes a new ARB air locker and custom 35 spline axle shafts. We prototyped a new rear skid system for the RB vans for a water tank and did a full on board air system to run the ARB and air up tires/etc. The wheels are XD addict in black and the rubber is from BFG, 35/12.50/17 KM2's. We added a custom engine tuner from DP Tuner too! This van drives and handles great, it was barely done when Dan drove it back to MN with no issues. Here's his testimonial:

Every step of the process Chris helped me select the best upgrades for my situation. The most surprising thing about the van now is how well it handles! Coming from an automobile road racing background i was concerned that a lifted van wouldn't track well on pavement. (we usually have to put 1,200 miles of pavement driving before we start our off-road adventures.) To my surprise my UJOR van actually handles BETTER than when it was stock! it corners great, and with less body roll than my stock van did!
As great as it handles on-road, Vanasaurus is incredible off-road. with the 4wd and the Stage 2 Dana 60 w/RSC limited slip Front, the Sterling rear with ARB and 4.56's gears and heavy duty axles on 37's we have taken Vanasaurus places i never thought we could! Since you built Vanasaurus we have put over 25,000 miles on it with thousands of those miles off-road. your professionalism and attention to detail on our build has given us confidence that we can take Vanasaurus even further so next up on our trip list is Baja. after that, Alaska.
I've been referring to this van as "silver" so I guess thats the name! This 2010 E350 5.4 started life in NY and now it's headed to AZ to explore the desert & have some fun. We used this van to prototype some new parts that are specifically for the 5.4, including some new 10 leaf progressive leaf springs. It rides & drives great! The lift size is 4", and it has a stage 1 front Dana 60 with the RSC upgrade. AMP steps will help the kids get in & out, and the 285/70/17 BFG AT's on Pro Comp wheels will ensure its a quiet ride.
We just finished up MegAmbo! This rig lives up to it's name because it's awesome in many many ways! This 04 E350 6.0 obviously began life as an ambulance and has since been transformed into a 4x4 RV that is ready for action. Justin hasn't been playing around either, this entire transformation has been completed in 3 months. Here's what we did!
We had the luxury of having a complete interior before we started, so an accurate weight was all we needed to spec the 8" springs perfectly. We added an overload airbag system to handle any extra loads from a trailer or additional gear inside the camper. To handle the 37" Toyo MT's on XD Addict 17" wheels we went with the UJOR front dual shock system and some Bilstein 5160 Series shocks. An Excursion front sway bar keeps the body roll in check. For front axle traction we went with a Stage 2 Dana 60 packed with a powerlock differential. To send power to that axle we converted the 5R110 transmission to 4wd and added an NV271 t-case. 1350CV driveshafts front & rear.
SuperVan 2.0 is done! This has been a fun build that started several months ago. Since the customer was stationed in the middle east, we spent a lot of time emailing early on. He found a good candidate in SC, so I drove down to check it out & possibly purchase. The deal almost fell through over the price, and we came to an agreement by the time we left thanks to the women!!! Funny how that works. I drove the 2005 E350 6.0 home, and it started getting grumpy before I got back to NC. First stop..... engine shop. A full 6.0 upgrade was needed. EGR cooler delete, turbo rebuild with new parts, FICM module, engine wiring harness & coolant flush. Once that was complete, we started the suspension build. This van has a full UJOR 6" suspension lift, Stage 2 front axle w/RSC, Stage 2 Sterling rear, UJOR rear skid system, 35" BFG AT KO's, Pro Comp Steel Wheels, Bushwacker fender flares, Aluminess bumpers front & rear, Class 5 hitch, AMP Steps, NV271 t-case, 1350 CV driveshafts front & rear, Bilstein 5100 series shocks, Auto Meter EGT gauge, Scangauge monitor & some Hella 500 lights. Now it's ready for some adventures!

I have owned 2 Quigley 4WD Ford Econolines, and ended up lifting both. That’s how I originally found Chris and U Joint Offroad. I needed to fix my lifted Quigley which suffered from bump steer, death wobble, and uncontrollable wandering.
Chris installed his proprietary U Joint Offroad kit on my new van, and for the first time I enjoy driving it. With the new U Joint Offroad kit installed, my van not only steers straight at 90 mph, its effortless to drive because it never wanders and has no bump steer / death wobble.
Chris understands vans, and engineers U Joint Offroad suspension systems to suit vans, as opposed to retrofitting lift kits designed for pickups. I learned the hard way having to literally tear apart a just installed lift kit from another well known shop that left my van wandering all over the road, and too dangerous to drive. It was a difficult lesson to learn because I lost money and time.
Chris had my van picked up, and built in 2 weeks. I can say, with 100% certainty, he knows what he is doing. My van is fun to drive, safe, and smooth. I am also happy with the upgraded parts Chris installed like the only RSC / ABS axle for vans available, F550 brakes and Warn hubs, his own leaf spring kit (which make a huge difference when compared to pick up truck lift kit parts that don’t work), and 80psi tires for newer vans with tire sensors.

Another van build has just been finished! This 04 E350 6.0 belongs to Hank Williams III, and he needed some help getting it right. The van started life as a Quigley, and then it was lifted & modified. This is usually when things go wrong!!! We discussed the build, and decided to start over with the UJOR suspension system. We were able to re use the stock axle once we cut all of the bracketry off & returned it to it's original leaf sprung form. While we were cutting, we removed the stock coil buckets & installed the UJOR dual shock towers. This van has an 8" lift with 35" tires and Bilstein 5160 series shocks all the way around. Hank needs his airbags to be functional since he pulls heavy loads, so I fabbed up some "floating" airbag mount that don't restrict his rear suspension from articulating. I have to say that it drives 1000 times better. More words from Hank soon....

Here is WVan! This 2005 E350 V10 is build to work in all situations. It's running the UJOR 6" lift, Stage 2 Sterling 10.5 rear axle, Helo 17" wheels, Mickey Thompson 35/12.50/17 ATZ tires, and all of the normal UJOR conversion goodies. Really nice!!
This conversion we did here at the shop is this low mileage 2006 E350 6.0 with a SMB interior & pop top. There are quite a few 2WD SMB's rolling around, and as you know a 4x4 SMB is about as good as it gets! This van received the standard UJOR 4" conversion with American Racing wheels & BFG 285/75/16 AT KO tires. While the van was here, we completed some engine upgrades, including an EGR cooler delete & engine programmer. Great van ready for some camping in the back country!!!!
V3 is done & in the hands of it's new owner! I believe this is the most extensive build I've taken on. This van is a 2000 E350 7.3, and I purchased it from the 2nd owner. It had 785,000 miles on the clock when it came to UJOR. We did a "frame off" job (really should be called a "body off" because that's what we did) The original engine came out, and was replaced with another 7.3 from a 2003 Ambulance. While everything was exposed, we replaced the injectors & glow plugs, and replaced all of the accessories. The motor was a factory dual alternator, so we added that too. A custom engine tune from DP tuner adds power when needed.
The transmission was removed for a full rebuild, and we added an NV271 t-case to make the 4wd conversion come to life. This van is running the UJOR 6" conversion on 315/75/16 BFG AT KO tires with UJOR powder coated steel truck wheels, Stage 1 UJOR front axle, UJOR sway bar links, trac bar, and Single Bilstein 5100 series shocks front & rear too. Out back, we installed a rear skid system that will house some future additions.
This van isn't done! The new owner will quickly be building it up for a major trip across the US, so I'll add pics as things happen.

The realization that I needed a van hit right after I finished building up a Dodge W250 extended cab truck. Not enough cab room and not enough storage space, and couldn’t get a decent size storage rack. I was about to be out of the Military and going to be doing some serious traveling. I have hung out on the Portal for the last couple of years, and I saw the Vanaconda. Pretty much knew after reading about his build up of the Vanaconda and others I decided to start looking for an extended body 7.3L diesel van. It is tougher than I had thought. So finally I called Chris to get the low down on these vans and what kind of cost was involved, and it just so happened that he was pulling along the 785k mile V3 to the Expo to convert it to a 4x4. He also mentioned he was thinking of selling it and I was immediately interested. Called him up a week or two later and we made a deal! Then the build began, starting with a body off breakdown!!! Chris kept me updated throughout the build, sent pictures of progress and got the build done in great time. Chris is bar none the best guy I have ever had the opportunity of dealing with in the custom world, easy to talk to, very professional, and gets the job done right! StanVan is done! This was a fun build, and I hope Stan will be happy! This van has an interesting story. Like many van owners, Stan searched & searched for the right rig. He finally found this 08 E350 V10 in the DC area, which was perfect because I already had a trip planned to pick up a van in that area for a friend in CA. Stan's van only had 150 miles on the clock when I picked it up, so I headed south back to NC and we began the build....
Stan decided to go with the 4" lift, Stage 2 front axle, and the UJOR Sterling 10.5 rear stuffed with an ARB air locker. Both axles are equipped with the new UJOR brake upgrade. I squeezed the ARB air compressor under the hood and mounted the switches to the kick panel under the steering wheel. Where the rubber meets the road, we went with the BFG AT KO 285/75/16's with American Racing Slot wheels. Fender flares will keep the tires tucked under the body & the van nice & clean. Bilstein 5100 series shocks. AMP electric running boards will help the vertically challenged passengers climb in & out.
10,000 mi. review (9-10-12): It has been about 18 mo. since I picked up StanVan at UJOR. Mostly highway miles with about a hundred offroad (where it shines). Have plans and hopes for many more. No problems to speak of.......and lots of compliments on Chris' good work. Many thanks to Chris for his patience and expert guidance on the many decisions that had to be made for the build. StanVan is one tough van.

AmboVan is done! The first rig to be built in the new UJOR shop, AmboVan is ready to lay down the miles. Tony did his research & found the perfect rig for his needs. He wound up with this ambulance, a 97 E350 7.3 with the 138" wheelbase. Here's what we did:
UJOR 6" lift 4x4 Conversion, UJOR Stage 2 front axle, Aluminess front bumper with a Warn 16.5 winch, Warn VTC OBA compressor with a 2.5 gallon tank, BFG 255/85 MT KM2 tires, UJOR powder coated wheels, UJOR dual front shock mounts with Bilstein 5150 series shocks, UJOR rear airbag system, Hella driving lights, and a Mag-Hytec tranny pan. I almost bought a Sportsmobile until I ran across Chris on a forum and contacted him. I ended up buying an 07 6.0L extended van and immediately drove to Asheville, North Carolina. The day that I met Chris he took me for some food and a couple of beers with his friends, talk about hospitality. Chris and Eddie ( super cool dude) got right to work on my van and told me that it would be cool if I stood around and watched, so I did and I learned an awful lot about a van conversion. Here are the specs: UJOR 4" conversion, UJOR stage 1 front axle, Bilstein 5100 series shocks, UJOR steering kit, brake lines, sway bar links, front frame support, custom powder coated wheels, t-case shifter, fuel tank shortening kit, rear add a leaf, and rear 2" blocks. While the van was here, I took care of some preventive maintenance & upgrades to get the van ready for it's x-country adventure.

I'd been shopping for the right van for three years. Early on I was looking at used, "already done" vans on eBay, Craig's List (no relation), Thunder Garage and the Sportsmobile site. I knew I wanted a 4x4, 7.3 diesel, standard body to be able to pull our 34' trailer. I wanted under 120k miles and little or no rust. At the top of the Find It or Fix It list was an extended top and 4.10 gears. After some research, I knew getting an old Pathfinder conversion and making it right was going to take more wrenching and custom part fab than I wanted to get into. The rare, used 7.3L Sportsmobiles that popped up from time-to-time, would have been in my price range, had I not forgotten to attend law school. Darn.
I spotted the 1993 7.3L van on eBay. It had 102k miles, no rust (Virginia), standard body and an extended top. It had been used as a mobile gummint office. Picked it up for $4.3k. I knew Chris had his HQ a few hundred miles away in NC. That also sold me on this van.
I contacted Chris, told him what I had in mind and how I was going to use the van. He agreed to pick it up and do the job. A few days later, I had an itemized estimate of the base conversion. We caught two lucky breaks during the project. Chris managed to score some new Dana 60 axles and the rear gears on the van turned out to be 4.10. Thank you, O gods of the 4x4.
I wish Chris ran every company I need to deal with. Smart, funny, conscientious, exacting, fair... brave , clean, reverent... whether he's putting together a kit or whipping the full monte on your van, Chris brings his full attention and considerable knowledge to the party. He has great visual taste too. In a former career, I was a graphics designer and I was pleased to realize I didn't have to nudge Chris back on course, as I need to do with most craftsman. John's van is an example of how I've outfitted several Quigley 4x4 vans. We installed a rear ARB air locker, Detroit True Trac up front, with 4.11 gears & Mag Hytec diff covers. To help the van breathe, we installed an RBP 4" exhaust system. Bilstein shocks all the way around, as well as Toyo MT's with American Racing Teflon wheels. The front fenders were trimmed like Vanaconda to make room for the 315's. This van has a wheelchair lift, so it had a body lift that helped clear the tires. Here's what John has to say! ----
I had Chris Steuber work his Magic on My 2003 4x4 Ford 7.3 E350. When I bought the van with only 23k on it !!, it had a simple Sportsmobile Kit done on it. I wanted it beefed up a bit with wheels, Tires , lift, gears, Lockers and Exhuast. That required some fender modification not to mention the Exhaust fabrication as well..Plus installing the Lockers and Nice new Diff covers as well to aid in Oil Flow. I met Chris and Liked him right away. Very Good Guy and super professional all the way. I told him what I had in mind plus my Budget issues for this project. He did my Van in two weeks time. No Problems at all. I highly recommend Chris for any kind of Job not just a Mechanical one like he is so awesome at. He is a Great guy and he is great at whatever he does. He just happens to be great at all things 4x4 especially with the Vans. In the family since new, I've wanted to fix up this Ranger for years! it's been a great
truck that will be sticking around for a while, so we gave it a new lease on life.
Full mechanical update including
clutch, upper & lower ball joints, steering, engine tune up &
driveshaft u-joints. Glassworks front fenders & complete paint job
in GM black. Since the factory bed was damaged, we replace it with a
custom flat bed that has all LED lighting built in. The bed frame is
steel, and the flat surface is made from Aluminum diamond plate that was
Line-X'd. Hi-Lift Slide locks will help to secure loads. Can't forget
the wheels/tires!! Pro Comp wheels & BFG 265/75/16 MT's give the
Ranger the aggressive look it needs. No suspension lift, all stock! I
also added Bilstein shocks. The front bumper was also custom built, and
it now holds 4 Hella 500 lights (2 fog, 2 pencil)
